Blue is in the blood
Supporting a sports team is the same as falling in love with a person. There simply something about them that attracts you to them.
It can be ;
their name,
their kit,
their mascot,
their venue,
their personality,
their style and etc.
You know just like how normally a person attracts you. I been supporting Chelsea FC for nearly 10 years, it doesnt seem long but yet 10 years is a long long time. Earlier stage I am not really a true fan I suppose, all I do is just checking on their results and watch their game once a while , nothing much after that. Well things have change lately, after watching live matches, mixing with people who support the same team, cheering and singing their songs and getting so up close with the team including the management people really pump the blue blood into me.
Nowadays I sort of follow the team news daily, never miss their matches either watch it live or through the net whenever I can and simply cheer them on. Hmmm maybe I should get a Chelsea tattoo, still thinking about it havent make up my mind yet. So why do I support Chelsea FC ?
First thing first , is because Chelsea sounded nice and easy to pronounce.
Next , they were sort of underdogs when I started supporting them. Chelsea back then wasnt really Chelsea nowadays but dont get me wrong , I dont freaking mind if they win all their matches mate.
My favourite colour is royal blue and their jersey is royal blue as well. What a coincidence right ? In the world of sport the most common colours and the colours of rivals are either Red or Blue. Normally the champions will wear Red while the contender will wear Blue in colour. In London you got Arsenal in Red, Chelsea in Blue. In Manchester you got Utd in Red, City in Blue. In Merseyside you got Lpool in Red, Everton in Blue. In Milan you got AC in Red, Inter in Blue. Is not only in football, in taekwando, karate, boxing, sumo and etc the colour normally use are blue and red.
Chelsea wears Adidas product, is like you either like it or hate it. I love Adidas stuff, never into Nike so another plus point for Chelsea.
As for our stadium Stamford Bridge, we have a very unique history there. Most teams are formed before they start looking for their homeground but Chelsea was formed only after Stamford Bridge were built, there wont be Chelsea FC if back then Fulham FC rejected the offer to use Stamford Bridge as their ground. Thanks to them I had such a perfect team to cheer for.
Then there are the mascot , the flag , the logo,the song and etc. All those thing make me love Chelsea even more but the only downside is that Samsung is sponsoring them, well it would be a perfect masterpiece if Sony could be the one sponsoring them instead. Ahha , is like I am born to be a fan of Chelsea no matter how you see it.
and the main reason I started supporting Chelsea and not some other team with the same criteria is simply because of 1 man and 1 man only.

is so admirable, seriously there are not much player out there can compete with him in term of the whole package, he might not score that many goals, he might not be that famous, he might not be the football face, he might not even represent his country that often
but
he is creative, he is humble, he is friendly, he is sporting, he set up goals, he plays beautifully in conclusion he is someone pleasant you want to be with.
