Single Available & Desperate

Posted on December 31st, 2009 in Relationship by SirSimplySaw

Have you heard of the term S A D ? it stands for Single Available & Desperate , it was quite a well known term to refer to guys like me. Ahha.. Guys like me are not only Single and Available but at times we are consider desperado as well. I believe most are us are desperate at times either in relationship, career, financial, sexual and etc. When we are desperate we tend to do things that out of ordinary or things that we wouldnt normally do when we are not desperate.

People might do crazy and unreasonable things when they are desperate such as :-

- they might rob a bank if they are desperate for money  ( those bankers up there even rape the bank inside out even though there are not desperate )
- they might kill someone if they are desperate for revenge ( although I know there are people who kill@bomb others just because they want to have free sex with some mongolian chicks )
- they might jeer and insult their own team when they are desperate to win a game against Chelsea, the Almighty Chelsea…
- they might sacrifice their life in desperate situation to keep their family members alive
- they might even eat each other in order to survive when people are desperate for food

It shows that when one are in desperate situation we can be so irrational. So what happens when someone are desperate for love or companion or GF/BF ? A  few situation might happen if one is too desperate for love

Situation A
If a guy too desperate for girl he might turn into gay and if a girl too desperate for guy she might turn into lesbian. I mean a gay love is much better than no love right ?

Situation B
You lower your standard or you let the desperate emotion take over your big head and also your small head as well. So you will start looking for a companion that you yourself dont even understand why you chose or go after him or her.

Situation C
You randomly add and chat with people in Facebook, Adult Friend Finder, MySpace and etc with the hope you might get lucky with one of them sexually and emotionally.

Situation D
You start to believe in the face of Agong , Queen or even Benjamin Franklin instead of yourself. You use them to get companionship.

Situation E
You get yourself feeling so depressed that you no longer believe in Love and you start to think that all girls are bitches and all guys are bastard.

Well honestly I am getting quite desperate lately, I dont know why.
Is it peer pressure ?
Is it loneliness ?
Is it the manhood/adulthood ?

I honestly dont know the answer but what I know is that I think I am the last few among my circle of friends that NEVER involve with any relationship. That makes S A W a S A D person. Anyway back to my problem , I know is freaking pathetic and sad to write all this stuff but somehow I just need to do some ranting or else I might get even worse. Haha. Of course SAW knows is not alright to complain like a bitch but well is alright to be a bitch sometimes.

So which situation will SAW in if things dont get better ? I hope none of the above.

In few hours time we will be celebrating a brand new year, somehow every year everyone will hope that the new year will be a much better year compared to the current year but is our current year really that bad ? I mean if it is that bad we wont be seeing a brand new year wont we ?

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE AND 2010 will be the year of Glory for CHELSEA and SAW

Drive of Life

Posted on December 22nd, 2009 in Travel by SirSimplySaw

Today 23rd December 2010 (it should be 23rd Dec 2009, thanks Boss Banana for pointing that out ) mark a very very special day to me, is not because it is the eve of the Christmas Eve. Well today marks my 1 year anniversary of not driving a vehicle, can you imagine it one whole year ME not driving. Driving was really like big part of me, I think I definately drove more frequent than I sending text to a girl, partly because I am a sad and lonely young man without much life. Ahha, who cares. Anyway honestly I do enjoy driving very much when the traffic is light and when the atmosphere is nice but the high price of petrol do take some part of fun away from driving.

Before I start my lame story let me just briefly explain to you how the insurance for car works over here in UK. Unlike in Malaysia when a car is insured anyone with a proper driving license can drive it, if you have one car in your household, you dad can drive it, your mum can it, your grandma can drive, your sis can drive it, your aunty can drive and even your house dog can drive it provided it can drive and has a valid driving license.

Here is a little bit different, lets say if your household own a car lets call it Civic, if you dad wanted to drive Civic he must have insurance to drive Civic if your mum want to drive Civic then she must have ANOTHER insurance to drive Civic. If your household has 2 cars namely Civic and Altis, if your dad wanted to drive both Civic and Altis he must have one insurance to cover him while driving Civic and another insurance to cover him while driving Altis so he must have 2 insurance policy in order to drive both cars. So in short the insurance here indirectly cover the driver instead of the car.

How much you are paying for your insurance policy depends on 3 main criteria :-
1.) where you stay
2.) your driving experience and age
3.) your car type

Insurance policy can be very expensive if you are younger than age of 25 , if the area you are staying in consider high risk in crime rate and if you are driving brand new expensive car. Sometimes the insurance policy can cost you as much as £ 2000 per annum even though the market value of your car is just £ 1000 simply because you are consider high risk driver/owner. Thats why there are plenty of drivers out there in UK especially those immigrants are driving without proper insurance cover.

So why didnt I drive for one whole year ? Basically this day last year I was driving my boss car without proper insurance. When it isnt your day , it just isnt your day. Somehow some police patrol car that patrolling the street RANDOMLY stop my vehicle to check my details. Unfortunately even though I am legally permitted to be in this country I was driving without proper insurance cover so I have to sit behind a police car while they take down my details and stuff, mind you I was sitting in BMW  police car so I dont really mind. Actually my boss wanted to include me in the insurance to drive the car for that day but it cost £ 2,500 just to cover me for one freaking day. Any sane man would know thats not the sane things to do , I mean even the operator on the line giggles when she saw the figure.

Anyway they towed my boss car away and weeks later I received a letter from the Magistrate of Manchester asking me to attend a court hearing  for that driving offence. I was devastated at that time because according to the police officer there will be no further action taken against me but just tow away the vehicle I was driving. All the time I been a very obedient and nice citizen in Malaysia and just a few months in the UK I was already been summon to court, ahha something must not be right here. Since driving without proper insurance is such a norm over here, I can see ten of thousand or even hundred of thousand of this cases happening in UK every year so I was given an option to plead guilty by writing without needing to attend the court.

In order to avoid all the hassle and harsher penalty I plead guilty by writing and was fine a considerable amount of money for such a minor offence . They had my driving license for a couple of months apparently some guy forget to post it back to me and some guy accidentally archive my license. So since the day I was stopped by the police officer which is on the 23rd December 09 I havent been driving simply because it is just not worth it.I mean cars are cheap here, I can easily get a second hand car for less than £500 but the insurance simply too blardy expensive. I do miss the feeling of driving but I guess it just have to wait till I am back in Msia.

Gold medal, a beginning of a new era ?

Posted on December 17th, 2009 in Sporting by SirSimplySaw

If you are in Malaysia you probably know about this but if you are in Malaysia and you are a Malaysian and yet you dont know about this then SHAME ON YOU !!!

MALAYSIA FOOTBALL TEAM WON the GOLD MEDAL in the 25th SEA GAMES hosted by Laos. There I said it. Honestly I am very proud of our Malaysia football team and their achievement in Laos come as a suprise to me , a very very pleasant suprise. I mean our senior football team currently ranked 161th in the FIFA  out of 210 football association which you can say we are sort of very last because those team thats behind us are mostly countries that just recently received their independent or football is not that country main/national/popular sport.

Although the rest of the ASEAN team are not particularly in front us but still the best place among the ASEAN country is Thailand at 101th place which is not that bad because KOREA DPR that position at 87th in the world manage to qualify for the WC2010. Anyway back to our SEA Games football team, well I have to admit that most people dont really bother about the gold medal from SEA Games and some might not even know where  South East Asia located but to us Malaysian , this GOLD medal does signify something very important.

Is been a while since the last time our football team did anything the nation can be proud of , the last time would be qualifying for the Olympic in 1972 and 1980 which we later boycott as a form of protest for Soviet intervention in Afghanistan in 1979. After those achievements our national football keep on making headlines of the newspaper for the wrong reason such as :-

- in the 90s our football scene was embroiled in the one of biggest bribery scandals ever to hit the country
- our national team lost to teams that we never imagine we will lose to
- football teams in our national football league facing bankruptcy and couldnt afford to pay the players wages
- corruption at the highest level within the FA
- political figure who tries to manipulate the FA for their own benefit and also cheap publicity
- paying teams like Man Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brazil and etc to play against our national team

So we do welcome this Gold medal with an open hand, I am sure the rest of Malaysia felt the same way. I am not very sure is this a one hit wonder or is it a new beginning to a much better prospect for our national football but somehow this achievement do gave me a glimpse of hope that Malaysia might qualify for the World Cup in my lifetime.

You see attending the World Cup event for the whole month was part of my life plan and earlier I was telling myself it would be so much better if Malaysia could qualify for WC then I will have a much better purpose to be there by supporting my national team. I mean I am sure the World Cup experience would be awesome but being in WC supporting other national team like England or Netherlands doesnt really give you as much kick or satisfaction then supporting your own national team and in my case it is MALAYSIA.

I do hope those youngsters will keep on improving and bring our national football to a height no one ever imagine. Hopefully some day our country would be the center stage for football, I wouldnt mind paying our footballers RM500,00 a week ( current value of course, doesnt consider the inflation rate and etc till the day ) if they are worth the money, in fact I am more than happy paying them those figure because it is a prove that our football team are a force to recognise by the world. We no longer need those cheap publicity by then to promote ourselves.

Here is a clip to show you our journey in 25th SEA GAMES in Laos

ps. I just found out that there is Malaysia football player who played for Hertha Berlin from 1990 till 1994 then Bayern Munich from 1995 till 1999 and he is currently the assistant coach for Bayern Munich youth team. His name is LIM TEONG KIM

End of the year Vision 2020

Posted on December 12th, 2009 in Politic by SirSimplySaw

Is coming to the end of the year 2009, I still vividly remember that not too long ago or should I say 10 years ago that humankind was sort of in panic mode when Y2k approaching but luckily everything turns out well and no major data breakdown or chaotic situation. How this 10 years simply fly away , I mean even my mum had pass away for like 20 years already. At times it can cause anxiety but most of the time it causes excitements because as time pass we know that we experienced things and at the same time anticipating new events and new experience in the coming times.

As the clock struck 12 this 31s December 2009 midnight to mark a beginning of the new year the biggest question remain unanswered in  my mind was can Malaysia achieve Vision 2020 in 10 years time ? The Vision 2020 was the brain child of our former longest serving Prime Minister Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohammad in 1991 ,Malaysian had walked through 2/3 of the journey but yet somehow just somehow the distant to the finishing line look more than 1/3 of the whole journey initially planned.

Our current Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak said that in order for Malaysia to achieve Vision 2020 we would need to reach the economic growth of 8% for the next 10 years if we achieve growth of less than 8%, lets say growth at 6% we will only be able to reach the the status of developed country in the year 2030. So what happen if our country economic growth is even lower than 6% , will we only achieve the status of developed country by 2050 ? No offence to anyone but if this continue I think sooner or later even Timor Leste will overtake us to be a developed nation just like what happened to our football national team.

I am no expert in economics, I am no expert in political arena, I am no expert in World stuff but I do believe in COMMON SENSE. I still remember a friend of my used to tell me that “COMMON SENSE ARE NOT COMMONLY FOUND“.

So what does my COMMON SENSE tells me,

1.) In order to be a developed country we need create healthy competitions among ourselves, healthy competitions bring out the best of everyone including those of inferior genes. You will be suprise how healthy competitions can push the economic growth of the country.

2.) NEVER allow monopoly of any corporations in any sector, we do not welcome certain corporations raise their prices as they please because they know we need them. We need to have options to choose the best deal for ourselves.

3.) Be money wise, we do not require certain people spend Millions of ringgit to build a building we hardly use and even worst it collapsed before we got a chance to make full use of it. I still cant believe a brand new stadium can just collapsed in less than 2 years. We also do not need people who spend RM15k on a laptop that retail for Rm7k when a laptop that cost RM4k can do the same thing. The money can be used elsewhere like giving out as loans to people starting up business or improving our healthcare.

4.) We need leaders who are passionate in developing the country not developing the amount in their Swiss Bank account. We also need leaders who care about the country and not their personal interest, we do not need leaders who stir up things to cause tension among its rakyat. A great leader can lead us to a new height while a silly leader can lead us to our doom.

5.) We need to stop being silly , stop believing in everything we hear without thinking properly. Think and use your common sense when you heard something not so pleasing to the ears. Do not act when you are angry and do not do things blindly when instructed by other people. When your conscience telling you it is not the right thing to then perhaps it is really not the right thing to do.

Anyway can Malaysia be a developed nation by 2020 is something remain unknown by anyone. I am also still waiting for the moment when Malaysia football team qualified for the World Cup.

This is It ! What is it ?

After a hectic few days finally manage to get some good rest last night but somehow something quite suprisingly happened when I close my eyes before I go into my deep sleep. Out of sudden I see a FLASH of white lights with my eyes closed. The light gave me a very strong presence or impression in a way, I was terrified in a way and I just sort of jump out of my bed grasping for air.Trust me I think I will wet my bed if I havent went to answer nature call just moments before. It was sort of a feeling I never really felt before.

You see when I was much younger I damn afraid of ghost mostly because of the movie Child’s Play. I remember I cried when I watch it even with few other family members.Seriously why do they think is alright to make a movie about a children doll that go around and kill people, seriously whats on their mind ?  As time passes by I overcome those feeling by watching horror movies and thriller kind of movies and soon I can say that those feelings are getting less and less. I even find horror movies damn boring at times because it is so predictable.

Anyway back to what I experienced last night, I am quite sure it is not ghost or UFO because I am still here typing well I think I am not dead yet, hopefully I am not wrong I suppose. Maybe I am already dead and I still don’t realise it ? I really don’t know. I am still trying  to figure what happened last night ;

- is it a sign that something BIG going to happen ?

- is it a sign my time is near ?

- is it a sign from God ?

- am I been kidnapped by Aliens and they returned me to Earth after raping me ?

the worst possible situation is that my time is near. I do hope that my time wont end yet. I still remember that weeks before my grandfather had his last breath almost every night he had nightmare of someone or something came and drag him away. He will always scream “Don’t drag me , don’t drag me” or “Don’t catch me ,don’t catch me” when he had those nightmare. He also claimed that at night he constantly heard the sound of chain dragging along the ground as the Chinese believe when your time is near the Bull Head Horse Face will come and chain your legs then drag you to Hell to meet the Keeper of Hell to decide your fate either go to up to Heaven or go down to Hell.

Is this what I am going through right now ? I don’t see those creature dragging me, I don’t hear any noises made by chain. All I see is just a flash of light but somehow it gave me this feeling that it is a sign for something but I still couldnt figure it out after thinking about it the whole day. Have any of you had this kind of experience before ? Mind to share with me if you does.

Anyway live our life to the fullest and cheersssss…
