In just less than 2 weeks since the beginning of 2010/new decade but somehow our daily newspaper headlines are covered with terrible news from all around the world. There are 2 headlines that really caught my attention although the big freeze in UK that postponed the football matches this weekend which are not particularly pleasing to me but it is just entertainment so no biggie simply because Chelsea are still on the top of the league even after Arsenal and Man Utd played their match.

Ok the first news that I find it disturbing is the Burning of Churches back in my home country Malaysia. Up till today there are altogether 4 churches being attack by UNKNOWN group of people for unknown reason although on the surface it was said that the usage of the word Allah to refer to God in some religious publication might provoke this although I believe there are majority of sober Malaysian knew deep inside their heart that there might be some hidden agenda behind all this.

After the incidents happened somehow there are alot of high profile politicians step out and condemn those actions which I applaud but do they really mean it or is it just for some cheap publicity ? Only God knows, I guess I better not use the word Allah here or else I might get the people around me into deep trouble. Oh yea our IGP Inspector-General Police concluded that the attack wasn’t well planned and pointed to the work of emotional person which suprises me because someone who couldnt even solve the case of the murder of Altantuya since end of 2006 till today could come to this magical conclusion in less than a week investigation. Is it an insult to his intellingence or my ? I ponder.

It doesnt matter whats the real agenda behind all this arson attack but burning others people properties with the intention to hurt and blackmail is not right no matter which side of black or white you are in but I guess some people will never understand. I just hope that things wont get worst from now on and a better future ahead of us.

Togo Football Team got gunned down like dogs at Congolese border ahead of African Nation Cup. I know people got killed everywhere everyday, it can happen in Shah Alam or even New York city. No place is exactly safe but there are area that are more prone to crime compared to the others.

I know some of you might think whats so special about 22 men kicking some ball around in a field ? Well sportsperson are like delegates for countries, they are as important as politicians if not more. Some people can easily remember 500 sportsperson but struggle to remember even 50 politicians, some people can easily can remember the whole squad from first team to the pee wee team members of their favourite team but cant even remember their own MP name.

You might think that footballers are some overpaid idiots paid by a more idiotic person but in reality they deserve what they get. Their roles are more than that , they can reunite the country much better by winning a game compared to a 50 years regime by certain political party.

So it really make me sad when this kind of things happen not simply because i am a football fan but the act of gunning sportsperson that might reunite broken country so much better than your military leader or dictator or some king is like killing your own children future. Dont you want a better life for your children ? If yes then why are doing all this ?

I guess when people are in desperate situation they don’t really can think properly and act irrationally. I hope God up there can guide those people to the right path although what he is able to do might be limited or restricted but I do hope God shall bless of us no matter who are where we are.
